ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the federal cabinet has decided to invest an additional Rs500 billion in South Punjab’s development.
While addressing to a big gathering in Mailsi city today, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced an additional Rs500 billion for the development of South Punjab. He also claimed that he will introduce legislation in the National Assembly to establish the province of South Punjab.
“We’ll see if the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) support this action.” For a long time, both [opposition] parties want South Punjab to become a province.”
