The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has requested permission from the authorities to hold a demonstration at Islamabad’s D-Chowk, where the party has chosen to camp.
According to reports, the PPP petitioned the Commissioner of Islamabad for permission to hold the demonstration at D-Chowk because the Awami March is set to arrive in the capital on March 8.
It should be noted that the PPP asked permission to hold rallies in Faisalabad for three days, which the authorities granted for one day.
