A massive explosion on Quetta’s Fatima Jinnah Road killed three people, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), and wounded 25, including two police officers, on Wednesday.
The explosion happened inside a store on Fatima Jinnah Road, according to early reports. Raging flames could be observed near the blast site. Firefighters who arrived on the site quickly extinguished the flames.
Rescue crews and security professionals, including police officers, had arrived on the scene, and the area had been cordoned off.
