In Dunyapur and Muridke, five persons have perished in traffic accidents.

At least five persons were killed in separate car accidents late Sunday night in Dunyapur and Muridke.

According to sources, the first tragedy happened in the Makhdoom Aali district near Dunyapur, when a truck collided with a motorbike, killing three persons on the spot. Overspeeding, according to eyewitnesses, was the cause of the crash. The bodies were sent to a local hospital.

The second tragedy occurred on Muridke’s Grand Trunk (GT) Road, when a speeding car collided with a motorbike, killing two actual sisters and wounding their brother on the spot. The bodies of those who had died and those who had been injured were carried to the hospital.
