The government will grant 2.6 million merit-based scholarships totaling 28 billion rupees to meritorious students, according to Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had already launched the Scholarship Portal.
The Punjab government, according to the Minister of State, is establishing three technical institutions and will award two hundred thousand higher education scholarships.
He explained that the school is being modernised and would be conducted in two shifts.
