Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional Inspector General (AIG) Karachi, has urged station head officers (SHOs) to ensure the prompt registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) to address public issues.

According to information, AIG Memon has issued yet another critical directive, instructing all SHOs to guarantee that FIRs be registered free of charge, and that anyone who disobey the directives would face severe consequences.

Citizens can also file their cases at any time at police stations, and they are encouraged to do so.

According to the IG, it has been determined that SHOs are underperforming, and further directives have been issued to take action/crackdown against organised gangs in the city.
