Pakistan has confirmed 44 additional coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of positive cases to 1,480,592. On Saturday, the number of those killed in Pakistan reached 29,731.
In the previous 24 hours, 3,019 persons tested positive for COVID-19, according to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC).
Punjab continues to have the largest number of deaths, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
So far, 13,335 people have died in Punjab, 7,971 in Sindh, 6,103 in KPK, 996 in Islamabad, 766 in Azad Kashmir, 371 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan as a result of the epidemic.
