During a gunfight with militants in the general area of Shewa, North Waziristan District, terrorist Irfan alias Abu Darda was killed by security forces.
During the nights of February 8 and 9, 2022, a combat occurred between Security Forces and terrorists in the general neighbourhood of Shewa, North Waziristan District, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Terrorist Irfan nicknamed Abu Darda was killed during a fierce firefight. The terrorist’s weapon and ammunition were also recovered by the security officers.
Terrorist attacks against security personnel, as well as targeted killings and kidnappings for ransom, were all carried out by the murdered terrorist. Residents in the neighbourhood hailed the operation and expressed their unwavering support for the operation’s goal of eliminating the threat of terrorism in the area.
