KARACHI: Police detained two “street criminals” in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood on Thursday.

The accused street criminals were taking stuff from residents Sufyan and Taha in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood, according to officials. Police soon caught them at the scene of the incident.

According to authorities, they were in possession of firearms and stolen items.

A resident of Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar Block 8 was robbed by street criminals in a second incident today.

The individual was hounded by street thugs after withdrawing cash from a private bank in the Safoora district.

Two motorbike robbers encircled the citizen at his door and stole Rs900,000 in cash. The man attempted to oppose the heist but was eventually defeated by the criminals.

The event was also filmed. The footage plainly shows uncovered armed dacoits, but officials have yet to apprehend them.
