A coal miner was murdered after a landslide wrecked a coal mine in the Balochistan province of Dukki.
According to reports, the coal miner was extracting coal from deep under the mine when the avalanche hit, killing him instantly. Local miners and rescue personnel found the deceased body from the mine and transported it to the district headquarters hospital in Dukki.
The deceased miner was identified as Abdul Haleem, an Afghan. Once the relevant administrative processes were completed, the miner’s body was transferred to Afghanistan.
