Skardu, according to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, would become an international sports destination in the winter.
The Prime Minister has published photos of Skardu on Twitter, highlighting the area’s beauty and attractiveness. A shot of girls playing ice hockey in Gilgit-Baltistan was also featured in the collection. The Prime Minister has stated that now that an international airport is in the area, it will most certainly become a world sports destination in the winter.
“Skardu at night and our girls playing ice hockey in Great Britain.” With an international airport now in Skardu, this location will, inshaAllah, become a world winter sports destination,” said Prime Minister Imran Khan in a tweet.
