Pakistan has recorded 27 deaths in the previous 24 hours caused by a new coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,410,033. On Saturday, the death toll in Pakistan rose to 29,219 people.

According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 7,963 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

In terms of fatalities, Punjab is the worst-affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So far, 13,139 people have died in Punjab, 7,800 in Sindh, 5,994 in KP, 979 in Islamabad, 752 in Azad Kashmir, 367 in Balochistan, and 188 in Gilgit Baltistan as a result of the pandemic.
