Strong winds wreak havoc in Karachi, killing five people including a child.

Strong winds caused havoc in Karachi on Friday, killing at least five people, including a child, when roofs were torn off and walls crumbled.

According to information gathered, the tents set up for the award distribution event in Karachi fell owing to heavy winds. The annual diploma distribution ceremony of Karachi University has been postponed due to bad weather.

The present weather conditions are expected to last until late at night, and officials have advised inhabitants to exercise caution.

In a residence near Landhi Mansehra Colony Street No 10, on the other hand, a guy was electrocuted. The dead man was taken to Jinnah Hospital and identified as Khawanin son of Ghulam Jan.

After high winds battered Karachi, the walls of a school crumbled. The structure, which was located in Paposh Nagar, was already deteriorated.
