LAHORE, — Lahore has been In the Pan Mandi neighbourhood of Lahore’s New Anarkali market, three people were killed and 29 others were injured in a time-device explosion.
According to reports, emergency responders responded at the scene of the collision and transferred the injured to Mayo Hospital.
The blast shattered the windows of nearby businesses and buildings, as well as damaging motorbikes.
According to authorities, roughly 1.5 kg of explosives were used in the blast. The devices were also located on the ground, sandwiched between motorcycles.
According to initial accounts, the explosion happened at 1:40 p.m., destroying eight motorcycles and razing a building.
Police teams are gathering evidence from the location of the incident, according to DIG operations, and the causes of the blast will be determined soon.
According to Mayo Hospital officials, four patients are in critical condition, and doctors are working to save their lives. Medics have provided first aid to other injured people.
The incident was reported to Punjab’s Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Buzdar, who demanded a report from the province’s Inspector General (IG).
