Mohammad Hasnain, a promising Pakistani fast bowler who recently had a successful term with the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League (BBL), will be tested for his bowling motion, which was noted by the umpires.
Hasnain will be tested at the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) authorised biomechanics laboratory in Lahore, according to EspnCricinfo.
In any event, he is permitted to bowl until the results of his tests, which might take up to 14 days, are received. According to EspnCricinfo, this indicates he should be good to bowl in the PSL’s opening games.
Moises Henriques, a Sydney Sixers all-rounder, was caught on the stump mic saying “great throw friend” to Hasnain after bowling him a bouncer in his previous BBL game.
This is a setback for Hasnain ahead of the Pakistan Super League 2022, which kicks off on January 27. Hasnain is a key component of the Quetta Gladiators side.
