(Online) Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has slammed the media for referring to her as Nick Jonas’ wife.
On Friday, the 38-year-old Bollywood diva reiterated on her Instagram Stories that her identity is more than being referred to as someone’s wife.
“The wife of Nick Jonas said…” read the text of the screenshot posted by Priyanka Chopra while discussing her new flick.
“Very fascinating that I’m promoting one of the most legendary film series of all time, yet I’m still referred to as ‘the wife of…’,” Priyanka added.
Priyanka commented, “Adding another photo from a newspaper, “Please explain why this still occurs in the case of women. Should I include a link to my IMDb page in my bio?” In her message, Priyanka also mentioned her husband, musician Nick Jonas.
“He’s a big Matrix fan, so I’m sure he was ecstatic when I was cast in the film. He may or may not have been giddy with excitement when he told a couple of his admirers that I was going to be in the next one. Yeah.”
